The Department of Industrial Chemistry at the University of Juba is dedicated to training professionals who can bridge the gap between traditional chemistry and industrial application. Academic Programmes
Our Department offers the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Industrial Chemistry (5 years).The curriculum covers foundational chemistry (inorganic, organic, physical, analytical) and advanced industrial topics such as:

Admission Requirements & How to Apply
Undergraduate Admission RequirementsApplicants must meet the following criteria:
- Successful completion of the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Minimum passes in English, Mathematics and at least one science subject (preferably Chemistry or Physics).
- Strong academic record in science and mathematics is preferred.
- International applicants must present equivalent qualifications and have them translated into English if necessary.
How to Apply
1.Obtain the application form from the University’s Admissions Office or download from the University website.
2.Fill in the form accurately and attach certified copies of academic transcripts/certificates, passport-size photograph, national ID/passport (for international applicants).
3.Pay the non-refundable application fee as specified by the University admissions guidelines.
4.Submit the completed form and supporting documents to:
Admissions Office, University of Juba, P.O. Box 82, Juba – South Sudan (or via the designated email/online submission if available).
5.Short-listed applicants will be notified via email or phone and may be invited for an interview or additional assessment. Successful applicants will receive an official Admission Letter with registration and orientation details.
